Anchoring and Satsang
An anchored response is an habitual response that we have to an internal or external stimuli. It’s as if we wear buttons that get pressed over and over. We don’t mind the responses that we habitually enjoy but we don’t like the one’s that are negative. Often we judge ourselves if we have negative responses and take it as a sign that we are not enlightened. (Interestingly, we don’t judge ourselves as unenlightened when we have habitual positive responses!) We can change our responses and we can see them as temporary illusions arising within consciousness.
